Fine for the price with modification.
Worth the price, but requires modification on my 2021 Ducati scrambler.The screen itself feels substantial. Nice and thick material. I found a few blems on the screen, but nothing that bothered me too much. Nothing you could see from 5 feet away.It mounts by clamping the bracket between the front blinkers and the front faring. Which is an all plastic area, which allows some play in the brackets and windscreen. Not sure how that would hold up at 80 miles an hour, or if it would break my front headlight plastic faring. 😲The brackets are aluminum, which is nice, but the holes were not drilled large enough to fit over the post from the blinkers. I had to open one hole on each side up to about .31”. They came at .26”. But the small post on the blinker is .30.I did that with a file, then spinning a drillbit loosely clamped in a pair of vise grips. A drill may have mauled the soft aluminum.Then went to install the bolts, using the hardware supply. Which was silver. The ones that came off the machine factory were black. Being OCD, I painted the bolts that were supplied black as well.Went to install the bolts provided, and they were too short to engage the nylon locking ring in the OEM nylon locknuts.A trip to the hardware store to buy longer M6-1 bolts fixed that issue. See picture for exact bolt size needed.So in the end, it looks nice, if done again, I may have gone darker.Summary; it had some play in it, not bolted to anything strong or substantial like a frame support. Just bolted to a plastic faring. Not sure about that. And required modification to fit.So fine for the price, if you’re willing to do some work, and keep it at speed to not break it off. We’ll see how it holds up overtime.
